How to play Powerball and what does a ticket cost?
- A single PowerBall play will cost you R10.00 VAT incl per play.
- PowerBall Xtra costs an additional R5.00 per board.
- To play PowerBall and PowerBall Xtra, choose five numbers between 1 and 50, plus a PowerBall number between 1 and 16; either choose your own numbers, or use the Quick Pick option — a random selection generated by the computer.
- Important to note and to be aware: if you use any of the online services, there might be an additional charge, and you must always check the terms and conditions.
- Remember to write your details on the back of your ticket. You need this if you need to claim a prize — if you do not sign your ticket and you lose it, anyone will be able to use it to claim the prize.
