This week in KwaZulu-Natal starts mild and cloudy before the wet weather settles in. Durban opens on Monday around 21 to 27C, then showers and thundershowers arrive from Tuesday and rain showers hang around for the rest of the week. The days steadily cool along the coast, dropping to roughly 16 to 18C by Friday and Saturday, with high level clouds closing things out on Sunday. Inland, Pietermaritzburg and Newcastle also see thundershowers and rain showers through the middle of the week.
Keep a raincoat or umbrella handy, especially from Tuesday onwards, as the wet spell looks likely to stick around most days. Richards Bay sits a touch warmer, moving from cloudy conditions into showers and thundershowers, then rain showers later in the week. No SAWS warnings are active, so plan your outings around the showers and stay comfortable.
