A wet and cool weekend is shaping up across the Northern Cape, with rain on the cards for much of the province. Kimberley sits between 13 and 19C on both days, with showers and thundershowers on Saturday easing to slight rain on Sunday. Over in Upington it stays warmer at 22C rising to 24C, though showers and thundershowers hang around, while De Aar sees 17 to 19C with similar wet weather. Springbok stays cooler and cloudier, at 18C on Saturday and 21C on Sunday.
Do keep an eye on the wind if you are out west, as damaging winds warnings are active around Garies in Kamiesberg and Springbok in Nama Khoi. Pack a jacket and secure anything loose outside before you head out.
