Angelina Jolie is one of the many people who believe in adopting children even if they can have some of their own. While the actress initially adopted three of her children by herself, Pitt later adopted the kids as well.
Even though Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are currently at odds, the former couple shares six wonderful children together and all of them have both their mother’s and father’s surnames.
Maddox
The oldest of the Jolie-Pitt clan, Maddox was welcomed into the family in 2002. Angelina Jolie adopted Maddox when she was still with her former partner, Billy Bob Thornton.
At the height of the coronavirus pandemic, her eldest son had been studying at Yonsei University in Seoul, South Korea. He was previously reported to be studying biochemistry. In August this year, Maddox will be turning 21 years old.
Zahara
So, three years after adopting Maddox, Angelina Jolie adopted Zahara Marley in Ethiopia in 2005. Zahara is currently the second adopted child to become a part of the Jolie-Pitt family is now 17 years old.
In 2022, Zahara was shown to be dropped off at Spelman college. At the time, the actress took to Instagram to reveal that he daughter will be attending the historically black liberal college. To celebrate her enrollment, Angelina Jolie joined Zahara and other parents to do the electric dance.
Shiloh
Thus far, Shiloh is the first biological child of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, Shiloh is popularly known to be the dancer in the family. Since joining dance school, the teen showed off her dancing moves to Doja Cat’s track Vegas.
Shiloh was born in 2006, a year shy of welcoming Zahara into the family. While the 17-year-old is of American descent, she was born in the African country Namibia.
Pax
Even though Pax was welcomed into the Jolie-Pitt family in 2007, Pax is actually the second-oldest son to Jolie and Pitt. the 18-year-old joined the family when he was just three years old.
Knox
One of a pair of twins, Knox is also one of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s biological children. The youngest of the boys, Knox along with his siblings Zahara, Shiloh, and Pax had small roles in the film Kung Fu Panda. The group voiced some of the characters in the film.
Vivienne
Like her sibling, Vivienne is the youngest of the girls. Not much is known about the 14-old-year-old as Angelina Jolie keeps her children pretty sheltered.
