The couple called it quits less than two weeks after they welcomed their baby boy, Prince, into the world. And on Friday morning, the 33-year-old Carter claimed that he was “trapped” inside his bedroom because his ex-fiancée, Melanie Martin, refused to leave.
Carter took to social media and shared photos of him watching Iron Man and eating cookies. He then wrote:
“I’m literally trapped inside my own bedroom because my ex will not leave my house,” he wrote, after sharing photos of him watching Iron Man and eating cookies.
The breakup of Carter and Martin
The former singer once again took to social media and posted on Twitter that he and Martin are breaking up. He also added that his estranged family played a big role in the split.
In ongoing tweets, Carter stated that he was too “shocked” to even “shed a tear” about the breakup, and kept referring to the alleged lies and betrayal.
Carter even told media recently that he “believes his family is trying to place him under a conservatorship”. However, according to Carter’s older brother, Nick Carter, this isn’t true.
“They do not speak and there is no conservatorship attempt happening,” an insider close to Nick said. “No one has any idea where Aaron is getting this from.”
