Elton Jantjies has spilled the beans in an interview with News24 this week.
The Springbok Flyhalf previously denied allegations that he was sent home from Argentina following an affair the rugby player reportedly had with the team’s dietician, Zeenat Simjee.
Elton Jantjies admits to the unthinkable
Recently, Elton Jantjies came clean to his wife about his infidelity. In his interview with News24, the rugby player shared that he had been romantically involved with Zeenat Simjee. Over the last seven months.
Thus far, Zeenat Simjee has vehemently denied the allegations that she had an affair with Elton Jantjies at the time. The dietician reportedly also had a partner at the time of the affair.
As shared by The Citizen, Iva Ristic expressed that she and her husband will never be together on a romantic basis again. She simultaneously shared that their main focus is their children and their well-being.
Iva Ristic moves to Cyprus
As for Elton Jantjies, he expressed that he will make this up to his wife for the rest of his life. The flyhalf previously shared that he will make “it [his]mission to make it up to her for as long as [he lives]”,
Right now, it is reported that Iva Ristic changed her handle on Instagram back to her maiden name. She and her children have since moved to Cyprus in order to get away from the media attention.
The couple has also taken their children out of the schools they were previously in after the immense attention the story got from the media to date.
Presently, Iva Ristic shared that she is disappointed in both Zeenat Simjee and her husband. The mother of two previously shared that she was friends with Simjee. She added that she also met her partner at one of the Springbok parties.
Among other things, Ristic also shared that she was suspecting that something was wrong. As she wondered where all his money was going. Right now, Elton Jantjies also denied going to rehab as a result of drugs. He was reportedly admitted to the rehab center as a result of injuries he sustained and his insomnia.
