In her annual interview with Variety, Billie Eilish pulled back the curtain on her personal life and that included her relationship with The Neighborhood band member.
Before disclosing details of her relationship, Billie Eilish revealed that she will no longer be publishing her interviews with Variety on an annual basis. However, the singer will still continue to film her yearly interviews. But fans will have to wait a little longer to see it.
When the singer was asked whether she had a boyfriend, the singer reportedly blushed. And began to gush about her new love interest.
She shared, “It’s really cool, and I’m really excited and I’m really happy about it,” Billie Eilish continued to share that she feels really “inspired by him” and that he feels the same way about her.
Earlier this year, Jesse Rutherford and Billie Eilish became a hot topic. After fans discovered their huge age difference which is at least 10 years. Among some of the criticism was the fact that Jesse Rutherford and Billie were acquainted when the singer was just fifteen years old.
A new album is on the way
While the couple has been spotted on many dates over the past few months, they haven’t openly discussed their relationship until now. Billie Eilish and Rutherford first made their debut on the red carpet as a couple. On November 5th at the LACMA Gala.
The couple both rocked sleepwear-inspired outfits by Gucci on the red carpet. They were later spotted cuddling under the Gucci blanket. Which they posed with for the photographers at the event.
Another interesting detail to note is that Billie Eilish is currently working on her next album. Particulars of the album have not been shared but the artist will communicate these details in due time.
