Presently, a video that has gone viral on TikTok shows Katy Perry pausing on stage after a set before she goes on to tell fans to make some noise for her band.
But, when the singer came to a standstill, Katy couldn’t keep her right eye open. In the clip, the singer makes an effort to keep her eye open after it consistently shuts.
To date, Katy Perry made use of touching her temple in order to keep her eyelid from coming down. However, her efforts were in vain as it managed to come down as soon as she let go of her temple.
Right now, fans are reacting to the way Katy Perry calmly handled the situation on stage this past week and have been making different theories about the reason this might have taken place.
Thus far, one common reason for this is when the muscle goes into a spasm. This most commonly takes place when one has Bell’s Palsy.
A few years ago, the singer opened up about having a wonk eye or a lazy eye. However, fans couldn’t help but notice that the artists showed similar symptoms to that Justin Bieber who is currently struggling with Ramsay Hunt Syndrome which paralyzes half of your face.
According to the Independent, Ramsay Hunt Syndrome is caused by a virus that is responsible for shingles or chickenpox.
