In an exclusive interview with People Magazine, Meghan Trainor spilled the beans about what’s new in her life right now. To our surprise, the singer announced that she is expecting!
Singer Meghan Trainor talks about having babies
The singer expressed to People Magazine that she is “so grateful to be pregnant” and that she is “crushing” it. While the singer already has her 1-year-old son Riley, the singer expressed that baby number two isn’t exactly the number she plans on stopping recreating. The actress currently joins actress Keke Palmer who announced her pregnancy on SNL in 2022.
While speaking about her current pregnancy, Meghan Trainor shared:
“I’m halfway there — I want four kids!”
However, this time around, Meghan Trainor expressed that her second pregnancy is relatively different from her first. The singer especially referred to her pregnancy symptoms presently.
She said, “It’s like a real pregnancy. The first one was like make-believe. I had no symptoms with Riley to the point where I was like, ‘We need to go to the doctor…I got them a right away with this baby. I got red perioral dermatitis all over my face — so that’s been fun with makeup — and popped early and was very nauseous.”

Dear Future Mama
Apart from preparing for baby number two, Meghan Trainor is also planning to release her new book, Dear Future Mama on April 25 in 2023.
The singer expressed that she will be delving into everything about motherhood and sharing her experiences of the responsibility after having her first child.
Of her latest project, the singer said,
“I’m an open book, and I love telling everybody everything about my grossness and all my truths,”
The singer who is currently four months along welcomed her first child Riley in February 2021.
When asked how she kept her pregnancy hush-hush until now, Trainor noted that she wore her favorite garment – hoodies!
She said, “I only wear hoodies. And everyone’s like, ‘You’re not even showing, you’re so small.’ I’m like, ‘Well, you can’t see me!’ For real.”
