South African model, Sadia Sallie, denied that she and media personality, Tino Chinyani, got married – despite his latest Instagram post.
On Friday morning, Tino posted images of what looks like a proper wedding – complete with rings and bridesmaids – and captioned the post with “forever”. And nearly instantly, Tino’s post was trending and people started commenting on how fast the presented “tied the knot”.
Tino was previously involved with actress Simz Ngema and they share a son together. But their breakup first went public in September 2021, so it’s understandable why Mzansi was shocked that he would already be married.
Sadia sets the record straight
While Tino was trending, his “bride” Sadia took to her own social media to set the record straight. And after many fans called her out for getting married as a publicity stunt, the model was triggered.
“ I’m smart enough to protect my name, brand and relationships. I don’t care about clout, but I am big on consent. I didn’t agree to this publicity stunt and was in the dark that any of this would happen.
“My concerns and requests were ignored, so in future I’ll have to do what’s best for me. I’m just a model who did a bridal shoot, I don’t care for celebrity validation or to be in any gossip tabloids. If it’s not professional and tidy it’s not going to be attached to me. Period.”
Nonetheless I thought to myself okay it’s just for content for this bridal boutique and all it’s models but now this publicity stunt is being pulled without my consent. I’ve addressed my concerns and discomfort and it’s been ignored so I’d like to make this statement myself ❤️
