Thuli Phongolo took to Instagram Stories to tease her new look while “letting it all go”. The actress and DJ hinted that 2022 is all about big decisions and she started by shaving her head.
Thuli first teased the change on her Twitter, with fans going crazy waiting in anticipation. And then she shared an Instagram story while the big moment was happening.

The New Year is all about Thuli Phongolo
Just before the New Year, Thuli vowed that she will be giving herself her “dream life” in 2022.
“Next year I’m giving myself my dream life while doing my dream jobs on another level.”
This came after she shared that her work was taking over and she left the popular telenovela The Wife.
“I need to get my personal life together. My work is literally taking over. Thiza wam.”
And while her departure from the show was linked to rumours of her being a diva, she strongly denied these rumours.
“It is imperative to note Thuli and the producers of the show reached a mutual agreement to end her role on The Wife pursuant to them agreeing the production schedules for continued filming were unsustainable for all parties involved,” a statement from Thuli’s management read.
Either way, her fans will always support her and are dying to see the final reveal of her new 2022 look.
