It’s been three months since Pretty (Lerato Marabe) cheated on her boyfriend Katlego (Patrick Seleka) with Lehasa Maphosa (Cedric Fourie). And on Friday’s (27 August) episode the show started dropping hints that Pretty might be pregnant.
The first hint the viewers got was when Pretty noticed that her clothes didn’t fit anymore. She had to ask her nephew Clement (Vusi Leremi) to help her zip up a top. Thereafter, she started complaining to Clement that most of her clothes seemed to be getting smaller.
Fans of the show seem to be convinced that the pregnancy is true and that the baby daddy is Lehasa.
Will Pretty have to handle being pregnant alone?
There was a time when Pretty had two men wanting to be with her. However, now it seems that both those men have moved on with their lives.
Once Katlego found out about Pretty and Lehasa’s affair, he confronted her and they broke up. He is now spending more time with Glenda Mogotsi (Nozi Langa) and it seems that he has developed feelings for her.
Lehasa, on the other hand, will most likely be delighted by the news, as he’s been wanting a baby ever since his wife passed away. However, when Pretty tried to make amends with him, he rejected her. It seems like Lehasa is focusing on moving on and is currently showing interest in Glenda’s life coach.
Wait and See
Pretty and her family has recently been through a lot of drama and hurt. And now it will be a waiting game to see how she finds out and who she tells. Skeem Saam viewers are still convinced that Lehasa will step up and give financial support to Pretty, who is young still and studying. If anything, it will be harder for Pretty to break the news to her mother since she is afraid of her.
Be sure to catch Skeem Saam on SABC 1 at 20:30 from Mondays to Fridays to keep up with the latest drama.
