Muvhango, SABC’s well-known drama series, is set to introduce Angela Atlang as the latest cast member. The series has a tradition of introducing young and dynamic talent, and in this case, it’s no different.
Angela Atlang is a Botswana-born actress that graduated from the University of Botswana with a Bachelor Of Theater Arts degree. The 26-year old actress will be playing Itseng, James Motsamai’s (played by Dingaan Mokebe) estranged sister. The character is a beautiful and seductive strip dancer, with a harder edge. She is persistent and strong.
Angela says she is up to the challenge to play this complex character. It will definitely benefit her journey and development in the performance arts industry. She is aware that her fellow Muvhango cast members, mainly females, have been praised in the past for both looks and performance. However, even though she is a bit nervous, she is also very excited about the challenge lying ahead. She believes that her work ethic will shine through her performance and that the viewers will notice and appreciate this trait. Her personal goal is to constantly grow and not stay stagnant in her roles.
