Lizzo always stays away from clapping back at her haters about her body and the way she wears her clothes. Recently though, the singer used the perfect platform to address her body shamers.

Previously, comedian Aries Spears used his platform to body shame Lizzo. The comedian compared the singer to an emoji and mashed potatoes. As many may be aware, the Good As Hell singer sports her curvy body all the time.
However, these posts are never met without any criticism. Regardless of this, Lizzo has chosen to block out all the noise and not use her platform to name and shame some of the people who have been insulting her online.
To date, Lizzo had one person in mind, who used his platform to insult the singer’s body. In her speech, Lizzo made sure to call him out by name and said, “And now, to the bitches that got something to say about me in the press, Aries, what’s good”. As shared by Elle Magazine, this is the same reference Nicki Minaj used towards Taylor Swift.

Back then, Nicki Minaj accepted her award and made sure to mention Taylor Swift in her speech as she mentioned her days prior to the press. The rapper stated, “And now, back to this bitch who had a lot to say about me the other day in the press: Miley, what’s good?”
Now, while Lizzo got back at Aries, the singer made sure to mention the fact that she is doing well and winning.
“You know what, I ain’t gonna say nothing. They be like, ‘Lizzo, why don’t you clap back? Why don’t you clap back?’ ‘Cause bitch, I’m winning, ho.”
Just last week, Lizzo took to Twitter to share how she is feeling following the harsh comments made by Aries Spears. The singer penned, “Crying myself to sleep last night was so fun I think I’ll do it again tonight.”
