Two police officers who were caught on camera drunk, in uniform, while behind the wheel, have been arrested, police report. The officers reportedly caused an accident on the R58 outside Lady Grey in the Eastern Cape on 26 May 2022.
Both officers have been charged with drunk and driving, as well as reckless and negligent driving after they caused an accident at a stop and go on the R58 outside Lady Grey. It is believed that the young officer is a 31-year-old constable and the other a 54-year-old Warrant Officer, both are stationed in Maletswai.
Both officers are seen in the video very drunk, and the Warrant Officer eve found it difficult to even stand up straight or even maintain his balance. The source of the video is unknown at this stage. Eastern Cape police could not confirm or provide any information on the videos at this stage.
In an unrelated incident, a horrifying video circulated on social media of a lion biting off a man’s finger. The man was seen in the video petting the lion through the fence at a zoo. The man was heard screaming the loved South African swear word F@K! several times which made people speculate that the video was recorded in South Africa.
The man’s finger was bitten, and he struggled to break loose from the lion’s jaws. What began as fun and games bended with the man losing his finger after being bitten by the lion.
