Approved R350 Covid-19 social relief of distress (SRD) grant beneficiaries will be able to make their December collections between the 6th and 30th of December.
Disability and elderly grants to be available first
The SRD grants will be available after the disbursement of the disability and elderly grants.
The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) has confirmed that the elderly grants will be paid from the 1st of December, while the disability grants will be available from the 2nd of December.
How to collect the SRD R350 grant
Each approved beneficiary is assigned a payment date depending on their ID number’s last three digits.
As soon as approved beneficiaries receive a confirmation SMS from SASSA they can collect their SRD R350 grants.
Here are the dates that are applicable to the SA Post Office payout system:
- 6 Dec: 080 & 085
- 7 Dec: 081 & 086
- 8 Dec: 082 & 087
- 9 Dec: 083 & 088
- 10 Dec: 084 & 089
- 13 Dec: 080 & 085
- 14 Dec: 081 & 086
- 15 Dec: 082 & 087

- 20 Dec: 083 & 088
- 21 Dec: 084 & 089
