The rainy 2022 Cape Town Cycle Tour winners
The Cape Town Cycle Tour is a 109km race that took place today in rainy Cape Town with thousands of cyclists from all over the world taking part.

Ramaphosa to continue leading the ANC for stability reasons
The campaign for President Cyril Ramaphosa to retain his leadership of the ANC is growing stronger ahead of the internal elections in December. And some key party officials are publically showing their support for the president.
According to Justice and Correctional Services Minister Ronald Lamola, “It will be good for stability of the country to have him continue”.
If Ramaphosa were to retain his ANC post, he will also be its presidential candidate in the 2024 elections. However, there is no guarantee that he will win the elections.
“We will still win in 2024, it won’t be easy, and it will also depend on what we do between now and then, particularly on service delivery and corruption,” he said. “The reality is that the outcomes of the last elections were a final warning shot to us. We no longer have the luxury of dilly-dallying.”
