The 8-year-old tigress has injured a man, two dogs, and killed a reindeer. The South African Police Service and the SPCA are currently on the lookout for the dangerous animal.
Sheba the tiger is still on the prowl
This past Monday, it has been reported that SAPS spotted Sheba the Tiger near Midvaal Waterhole. It is now believed that authorities are much closer to capturing the tigress which has been on the loose for more than a day.
Since its escape on Saturday, the tiger wasn’t believed to have gone far on foot. Previous reports noted that the tigress was only able to escape after thieves had cut the fences on the property. There is currently no clear motive behind this action.

In the meantime, residents in the south of Johannesburg are urged to stay away from the tiger as it will attack without provocation.
Right now, camera crews and SAPS are in the area in which the tiger was spotted. They are now hoping to retain the tigress very soon. While authorities try to secure the tigress, some South Africans have gotten so paranoid about the tiger on the loose. As everything they look at is assumed to be the tigress. This has subsequently led to hilarious memes being made.

Since escaping the enclosure, the female tiger has injured a 39-year-old man who has since been admitted to the hospital. It is unclear how bad his injuries is.
On the other hand, a reindeer that was brutally attacked need to be humanely euthanized. Two dogs have also been killed over the past two days.
