[Watch] Samthing Soweto addresses weight loss concerns and assures fans he is not dying

Singer and Songwriter Samkelo Mdolomba, popularly known as Samthing Soweto has recorded a video to address speculations about his weight loss and assured his fans that he is not dying. Some fans expressed concerns about his weight loss, while others speculated about his health deteriorating.

After weeks of speculations, Samthing Soweto recorded a video where he addressed people’s concerns and comments directly, saying that he is not I’ll but rather going through a life change.

“I just wanted to address the recent thing that’s happening about people talking about my weight and stuff. Yazi Bafethu, you are not wrong; I am going through a lot. I just wanted to thank everyone who sent a prayer, and the change is not due to the “personal stress”. I am not dying. I am ok. I am not ill,” he laughed.

“I have just changed my lifestyle. There are things I no longer do, things I don’t eat and there are physical activities I do every day. Those things have made me to change. I have changed, that is why I look like this,” he says.

Samthing Soweto, said he wanted to deal with this issue as it was getting out of hand. In the video he thanked all those who defended him from the cyberbullies.

“Thank you for the affection and the jokes, it’s all good. I am grateful for inviting me into your conversations. I will be fine; we will all be fine. Thank you to all those who defended me.”
