Becker has not featured since the pre-season friendly against Manchester United in Bangkok earlier in July.
Becker has now returned to training and Klopp expects him to be fit for the Premier League opener at Fulham on August 6, but the Brazil international will not face Manchester City at King Power Stadium this weekend.
Diogo Jota, meanwhile, also remains sidelined with a muscle issue.
“No, Alisson [Becker] and Diogo [Jota] have no [chance]. Ali trained today more than the day before so he will be definitely available for Fulham, but not for the weekend,” the boss said on Thursday.

“And the same for Diogo. Diogo was not here with us so how could he play a football game? That will take a while unfortunately. That’s it.”
KLOPP ON ROBERTO FIRMINO
Jürgen Klopp is in no doubt regarding the significance of the role Roberto Firmino will play for Liverpool this season, lauding him as the ‘heart and soul’ of the team.
The Brazilian is entering his eighth campaign as a Red, during which time he has been fundamental to the club’s multiple successes in major competitions.
And Klopp insists Firmino remains as important as ever to his plans as Liverpool prepare to try to add further trophies to their haul in 2022-23.

“Bobby is crucial for us,” the boss told his pre-FA Community Shield press conference in Austria on Thursday. “Bobby is [the] heart and soul of this team.
“The way we played in the last few years was only possible because of Bobby. That’s why I’m really happy he could train the majority of the time here in the pre-season so far and everything looks really good.
“I am absolutely fine and, for me, there’s no doubt about his quality. All the rest, we will see how this year goes, but yes, he is essential for us.”
