Tuttosport, the magazine that oversees the prize, announced the initial shortlist of the top 100 players under 21 years of age this Wednesday.
Pedri won the award holder
Let’s not forget that Pedri is the current Golden Boy award winner, after amassing 318 points for the last edition, 199 more than second-placed Jude Bellingham.
FC Barcelona is the most represented team, matched solely by Borussia Dortmund, although that is including Karim Adeyemi who has only just joined the German club. Jude Bellingham, Jayden Jezairo, Youssoufa Moukoko and Giovanni Reyna are also listed for the Bundesliga club.
