Dr Danny Jordaan has called on football fans to descend on Orlando stadium in large numbers when Banyana Banyana face Brazil in the first clash.
“I saw the 2022 Copa América Femenina final [between Brazil and Colombia at Estadio Alfonso López] and it was a full stadium,” Dr Jordaan said.
“Banyana Banyana’s Women’s Africa Cup of Nations final against Morocco in Morocco was also a full stadium. The UEFA Women’s Euro Final between England and Germany, full stadium.
“So we hope that women’s football fans will come and fill Orlando Stadium. The Brazil manager already already said they expect a full stadium. When they produce wonderful football, they want to see a full stadium.
