Salted Chocolate Brownies - Paleo Style

Gluten-free, dairy-free brownies with honey, sea salt and olive oil

Ingredients
  

  • 3/4 cup Cocoa Powder
  • 1/2 cup Almond Flour
  • 1/2 tsp Sea Salt
  • 1/2 cup Almond Butter
  • 1/2 cup Honey (or 1/2 tsp Stevia Powder)
  • 1/4 cup Extra Virgin Olive oil
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • Sea Salt For sprinkling

Instructions
 

  • Heat the oven to 180°C.
  • Sift together the cocoa, almond flour and salt.
  • Beat together butter, oil, eggs, vanilla and honey.
  • Fold the dry ingredients in with the wet ingredients.
  • Pour into a wide baking dish (roughly 20cm x 20cm). And bake for 20 minutes or until a knife comes out clean from the centre of the brownie mix.
  • Sprinkle with salt and then allow to cool before cutting and serving.
