Feeling like something packed with flavour and spice? Try this Chakalaka House Salad for a local but 'lekker' dish that can be served as a main.

Ingredients
  

For the Salad:

  • Tomatoes
  • Cucumber
  • Feta
  • Roasted Butternut
  • Avo

For the roast Butternut:

  • 1 butternut
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 red chilli
  • 10ml ground coriander
  • Salt and pepper
  • 50ml oil

Instructions
 

  • Cut the butternut in half and then cut each half into four or five wedges.
  • Chop the garlic and chilli and mix with all the oil and coriander, and then rub the mix onto the butternut sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  • Place in an oven dish roast in oven at 200 degrees for about 20 min.
  • Mix all the salad stuff in a bowl and serve with a honey and mustard dressing.
