Mamelodi Sundowns has acquired the services of Chilean Midfielder, Marcelo Allende, who joins the Treble Champions from Montevideo City Torque in Uruguay.
The 23-year-old made 106 appearances for his former side and recorded an impressive tally of 18 goals and 23 assists.

The diminutive attacking midfielder is a highly-rated National Team player who operates as an attacking midfielder and can also play on either wing, he also led the Chilean junior national team at the 2015 U/17 FIFA World Cup before making his debut in the senior national team last year.
Mamelodi Sundowns have a history of recruiting top South American talent, and Allende is the latest signing from the continent, joining up with fellow South Americans Erwin Saavedra (Bolivia) and Gaston Sirino (Uruguay) at Chloorkop, who have helped make his acclimatization easier.

Talking about his move, Marcelo had little to say except for sharing his excitement about joining Masandawana and said “I’m happy to be here at Mamelodi Sundowns and to contribute to the success of the team.”
