A Cheetah at a safari lodge is currently going viral for casually stepping into a living room as though it belonged there. The clip posted to TikTok by Jaco Geldenhys has raked up 200 000 views since the time of posting.
Guests gets a surprise visit from a Cheetah
In the clip, the Cheetah is spotted walking through the safari lodge and checking out the area. While doing so, Jaco calmly follows the Cheetah walking through their lodge and inspecting the area.
The guests, however, seemed unperturbed as they continued doing what they had been doing before the animal suddenly arrived at their lodge.
Since the time of posting, the video has managed to rake up over 200 000 views on TikTok. Not only did the video get thousands of viewers, but it also prompted conversation amongst South Africans.

Now, the Cheetah isn’t the only wildlife seen in the video. If you look closely, there is a bobcat sitting just behind the dining table of the lodge.
This is currently one of the wildest experiences in South Africa – Pun completely intended.
One question some South Africans had was how composed the guests were in the lodge. A TikTok user noted that she would’ve “screamed” had it been her be in the presence of the Cheetah.
A user named Nelz said, “what we were all thinking: “Why are you all calm? My sister there with the pink attire, why are you composed?? I would’ve scromed ”
