In partnership with Spotify and FC Barcelona, the soccer team will now have new kits. That is, with the OVO logo emblazoned over them. Instead of having their main sponsor on the kit, Drake will have the honor of his name on the back of the shirt and his logo on the front.

Presently, this collaboration comes after Drake reached a huge milestone this month. After reaching 50 billion streams on Spotify and being the first artist to reach this milestone.
According to For The Record, this collaboration will allow room to connect fans on a global scale. Recently, Drake had the privilege of unboxing the first limited edition shirt. The marketing Vice President for the Barcelona area shared what this collaboration means.
“For the first time in our history, we are replacing the name of our main sponsor on the front of the jersey with an internationally acclaimed artist, Drake. This initiative shows our potential to become a unique platform to offer experiences that help bring us closer to our fans while reaching out to new audiences around the world.”
To add to the excitement, Spotify will be celebrating this achievement with a giveaway of some of the shirts. To the loyal fans who have no doubt contributed to the artist’s success to date.
This Sunday, Barcelona will be walking onto the field with the special edition jerseys. The team will be warming up in their new kit which will display the number 50 at the back with the OVO logo of Drake’s brand in the front.
