Selena Gomez is making waves on the internet following a post to her social media account.
In a post to Instagram, Selena Gomez shared snaps of herself in what seems to be a studio, or rather, this is what fans think. The snaps show the singer rocking out and sporting a new blonde look.
Will Selena Gomez release a new album this year?
The new post has sent fans into a frenzy as the singer’s last album was dated back in 2020. Her album Rare included hits such as Lose You To Love Me and Look At Her Now. Gomez has been making headlines for weeks following her romance with The Chainsmokers band member Drew.
Recent speculation comes after Selena Gomez revealed last week that a new album will be coming soon.
At the time, a fan took to Twitter and probed the singer on when a new album will be coming. In response, Selena Gomez wrote, “Oh, it’s coming”.

During an interview in May 2022, Gomez shared with the Crew Call podcast that she is in fact in the studio working on her new record.
Now, the singer has already released a total of three albums so far. This means that 3 could be the next title of her next album, possibly scheduled for release later this year.
Selena Gomez released her album titled Stars Dance in 2013, which was followed by her 2015 album, Revival. Her most recent album released in 2020, is titled Rare.
According to Billboard, all three of her albums have made it to number one on the Billboard charts. Her Spanish EP titled Revelacion is also one of her first Latin albums to top charts on Billboards Top Latin Charts.
While there isn’t any concrete information on when she will release her album, the singer could be announcing the release of her new album pretty soon.
Apart from recording, the singer is also filming another season of the Hulu show, Only Murders in the Building. The singer took to Instagram to announce the new cast members and her excitement to be continuing the series.
