Flavourful Tomato and Potato Stew with Red Meat

A simple beef and tomato bredie with potatoes and white wine

Ingredients
  

  • 25 ml Butter
  • 2 Onions Sliced
  • 1 clove Garlic Crushed
  • 3 Tomatoes
  • 1.5 kg Beef or Lamb Chunks
  • 175 ml White wine
  • 500 g Potato Chunks
  • 5 ml White sugar
  • 5 large carrots sliced

Instructions
 

  • Put the butter into a casserole dish and heat up, add the lamb or beef, onions, garlic and white wine.
  • Cook for 5 minutes at medium heat then add the rest of the ingredients.
  • Let it simmer for 90 minutes and remove from the heat.
  • Serve as is or with your choice of side.
