Flavourful Tomato and Potato Stew with Red Meat
A simple beef and tomato bredie with potatoes and white wine
Ingredients
- 25 ml Butter
- 2 Onions Sliced
- 1 clove Garlic Crushed
- 3 Tomatoes
- 1.5 kg Beef or Lamb Chunks
- 175 ml White wine
- 500 g Potato Chunks
- 5 ml White sugar
- 5 large carrots sliced
Instructions
- Put the butter into a casserole dish and heat up, add the lamb or beef, onions, garlic and white wine.
- Cook for 5 minutes at medium heat then add the rest of the ingredients.
- Let it simmer for 90 minutes and remove from the heat.
- Serve as is or with your choice of side.
