Instructions
According to your choice of sauce... Whisk together the cherry juice, soy sauce, honey, garlic and chilli to form a sticky marinade. Thread cherries and streaky bacon alternately onto skewers and brush generously with the marinade. Grill in a closed braai grid over hot coals, turning regularly, until caramelised and crispy. Finish with a final glaze of reserved marinade or cherry syrup before serving.
Before serving, pour the leftover cherry syrup from the jar over the sosaties (skewers) just as they are done
