Gauteng starts the weekend on a lovely note. Saturday is mostly clear across the province, with Johannesburg climbing from a chilly 9C early in the morning to a pleasant 22C by the afternoon. Pretoria is the warmest of the lot at 23C, while Soweto and Vereeniging both reach a comfortable 22C, so it's a good day to be outside.
Sunday brings a change, with rain showers moving in and the afternoon cooling off. Johannesburg starts milder at 12C but only gets to 19C, Pretoria tops out at 22C and Vereeniging at 20C.
