The Northern Cape heads into a gently warming weekend, with showers and thundershowers across much of the interior on both days. Kimberley starts Saturday at a cool 13C and climbs to 22C, then edges up to between 14C and 23C on Sunday under more of the same. Upington goes from 22C to 25C, while De Aar warms from 19C to 22C, both with showers and thundershowers expected.
Out west, Springbok is the exception, moving from a cloudy 20C on Saturday to clear skies and 25C on Sunday. A veld fire conditions warning is in place for Ubuntu and Victoria West, so please avoid open flames and report any smoke quickly. Elsewhere, keep an umbrella handy and enjoy the weekend.
