Recently, the singer made the most subtle announcement of her involvement in the Super Bowl in 2023. As the big star that she is, all Rihanna had to do was post her hand holding a football to have fans going wild!
Since it’s been rather years since the singer released any new music, fans are currently overjoyed at the fact that Rihanna is going to be part of the next Super Bow halftime performance.
Thus far, Pepsi has been the previous Super Bowl sponsor. However, Apple has been revealed to be the show’s sponsor in 2023. As of late, more stars are possibly part of the show in 2023 but is yet to be announced.
Are we getting new music from RiRi?
To date, Rihanna has been very focussed on her business ventures and of course, starting her family. At a time the singer would seem most busy, the pop star has decided to make a surprise return to music next year.
Right now, it is unclear whether Rihanna has been recording new music. And fans are pretty much keen on hearing some new tracks. Thus far, many are finding it interesting to hear music from the star as a mother.
Presently, Elle Magazine reports that Taylor Swift was previously expected to headline the Super Bowl halftime show next year. However, this deal fell through after Apple was announced to be the official sponsor for the 2023 Super Bowl.
Thus far, the singer’s last album Anti was released back in 2016. But, the singer has not released any new music since. Since Rihanna first shared the news of her performing at the Super Bowl, her post has amassed over 5 million likes so far.
So far, many sources have reported that Rihaan is in talks to headline the Super Bowl. However, the star seemingly confirmed this with a simple Instagram post and no caption.
