A wet and unsettled day is on the cards across much of South Africa this Tuesday, with showers and thundershowers spreading over the interior from the Free State and Northern Cape through to Limpopo, North West and Mpumalanga, while Gauteng and KwaZulu-Natal can expect their own rain showers. The South African Weather Service has issued warnings for severe thunderstorms in several areas, so keep an eye on the skies if you’re out and about. Along the coast, Cape Town starts foggy but climbs to a warm 32 degrees, and while it’s pleasant there, an extreme veld fire warning is in place, so take extra care with anything that could spark a blaze.
