The action-adventure trilogy reaches its end with Jumanji: Open World, a fantasy comedy from director Jake Kasdan. Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, Jack Black and Karen Gillan reunite, joined by Alex Wolff, Morgan Turner, Ser’Darius Blain, Madison Iseman, Nick Jonas, Danny DeVito and Awkwafina. This time the heroes cannot simply escape the jungle, because the game breaks free and spills into the real world.
A second trailer promises new rules and one last round as the countdown to the finale begins. Kasdan wrote the script with Jeff Pinkner and Scott Rosenberg, drawing on Chris Van Allsburg’s book. Christmas Day is the big date: the film opens in cinemas on 25 December 2026.
