Two highly trained operatives are posted in guard towers on opposite sides of a vast, classified chasm in The Gorge, an action thriller with a romantic thread from director Scott Derrickson and writer Zach Dean. Miles Teller and Anya Taylor-Joy play the pair, who bond from a distance while watching for an unseen enemy. Sigourney Weaver, Ṣọpẹ́ Dìrísù and William Houston also appear.
In this first look, an undisclosed evil waits below, and once its threat to humanity comes to light, the two must join forces in a test of physical and mental strength to keep it contained. Running 128 minutes with a 16 age rating, Apple’s film streams on Apple TV in South Africa from 13 February 2025.
