What days is Lotto drawn?
Lotto, Lotto Plus 1, and Lotto 5 Max all draw every Wednesday and Saturday at 21:00 SAST.
How much does it cost to play?
A single Lotto play costs R10.00 (VAT inclusive). Lotto Plus 1 costs an extra R2.50 and requires an active Lotto ticket. Lotto 5 Max costs a further R2.50 and requires an active Lotto Plus 1 ticket.
How many numbers do you need to match?
All three draws use the same format — choose 6 numbers from 1 to 52. Match all 6 to win the jackpot. A bonus ball is drawn for additional prize tiers. Prizes are also paid for matching 2 or more numbers.
