Although the name is relatively unfamiliar locally, the company was established in 2003 and has more than 20 years of automotive experience. It has a presence in over 70 countries and regions and has exported more than 500,000 vehicles worldwide.

Three models make up the line-up offered by DFSK South Africa: the K01 compact bakkie, the C35 Panel Van and the C35 Crew Bus. Together they cover light load-carrying, enclosed cargo work and passenger transport for businesses.
LPG conversion to cut fuel costs
Running costs form part of the pitch. Through an OEM-approved LPG conversion initiative, qualifying customers can reduce what they spend on fuel while keeping the option of running on petrol.
Parts supply and dealer network
On the aftersales side, the company receives monthly parts container shipments and runs a dedicated parts operation in Kempton Park. It reports a 90% first-pick parts availability rate and says it is expanding its dealership network.
Gina Giani, Managing Director of DFSK South Africa, said local businesses “deserve affordable vehicles without undermining quality, practicality or aftersales support.” She added that the aim is to help “fleet owners control costs.”
