- Multiplina concept follows Paris Motor Show appearance.
- Fully electric L7 heavy quadricycle.
- Seats four in 3.04 metres.
- Inspired by the 1956 Fiat 600 Multipla.
- Sits between Topolino and conventional cars.
Shown at the Paris Motor Show, the Multiplina concept from Fiat sets out the brand’s next idea for micromobility. It is a fully electric vehicle that sits between the Topolino and a conventional passenger car, uses an L7 heavy quadricycle architecture and carries four occupants.
Fiat calls this new space the Multi-Purpose Quadricycle, combining four-seat practicality with the simplicity and accessibility of a quadricycle. The brand first introduced the vision in June, placing the concept within its micromobility range alongside the Topolino and TRIS.
Multiplina and Multiplay at the Paris Motor Show
At the show, the Multiplay concept took centre stage with its 3-in-1 interpretation of family mobility. While that car explores how one vehicle can adapt to different needs, the Multiplina focuses on maximising space and everyday usability within an ultra-compact footprint. Fiat describes the smaller concept as the missing link between the Topolino and a conventional car.

The original 600 Multipla accommodated six people in just 3.5 metres, and the new concept applies the same people-first thinking in a different context. Rather than recreating the past, it carries over the idea of maximising space and usability within minimal dimensions.
Design cues also reach back to the 1956 car. They include the forward-positioned windscreen, two-tone bodywork, a front “moustache” and the rear air-vent treatment, each reinterpreted in a contemporary style.
Multiplina dimensions and intended use
The quadricycle measures 3.04 metres long, 1.40 metres wide and 1.53 metres high. According to Fiat, it offers more space and versatility than an ultra-compact urban vehicle while keeping the simplicity and compactness of a quadricycle. Commuting, school runs, errands and short everyday journeys are the uses it was designed around.
Compact dimensions, low weight and careful use of space reduce the materials and resources required while preserving everyday usability, and the brand says electrification is only one part of its approach to sustainable mobility. Fiat sums up the thinking as doing more with less. No price, production plans or on-sale date have been given for the concept.
