Dealers selling Hyundai vehicles in South Africa delivered 2 848 units in October 2026, the brand’s highest monthly dealer sales figure since June 2022, when 2 947 vehicles were sold.

Hyundai October sales figures
According to figures released by the National Association of Automobile Manufacturers of South Africa (NAAMSA), total monthly sales for Hyundai in South Africa came to 3 207 vehicles in October. That brings domestic sales for January to October 2026 to 30 695 units.
The result arrives as competition in the local new-vehicle market grows, with established manufacturers and newer entrants fighting for buyers in the passenger-car and SUV segments. Anderson said October also showed positive year-on-year growth.
Dealer network credited by Hyundai
Stanley Anderson, CEO of Hyundai Automotive South Africa, said the dealer network deserved credit for the performance. “Their commitment to our customers is fundamental to our success,” he said.
Dealer principals, sales executives and service teams help customers choose a vehicle and provide support after the sale, which forms part of the ownership experience.
New Hyundai models for South Africa
Anderson said that after a period of consolidation in its product offering, the company is bringing renewed momentum to the market. The new Creta and the facelifted Staria were launched recently in South Africa.
Next in line is the all-new Venue, which Hyundai Automotive South Africa will launch next week as the latest addition to its local line-up.
