Chery International UK registered 13 589 new cars in the United Kingdom in October across its OMODA, JAECOO, Chery and LEPAS marques, according to data from the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT). That total gave the group an 8.9% share of the UK new-car market for the month.

JAECOO 7 leads the October chart

The JAECOO 7 was the highest-registering new car in the UK in October, a position it also held in September. Three other models from the group finished inside the top 30. The JAECOO 5 placed 10th, the OMODA 5 came 15th and the Chery TIGGO 8 finished 27th.

Registrations by marque in the UK

Brand house OMODA&JAECOO accounted for the largest portion of the monthly total, with 9 226 registrations and a 6.1% share of the UK new-car market. Chery added 3 707 vehicles for a 2.4% share.

LEPAS, the newest of the four brands in Britain, recorded 656 registrations. It joined the line-up in September 2026, following OMODA in 2024, JAECOO in January 2025 and Chery in August 2025.

Chery International UK year-to-date figures

Across the year so far, combined registrations for the four marques stand at 137 960. That figure represents a 7.3% share of the UK new-car market.

Gary Lan, CEO of Chery International UK, said the figures reflect “continued demand from UK customers across our range, with the JAECOO 7 again the country’s highest-registering new car.” He added that the company would keep investing in its UK team, retail network and customer support.
