A sponsorship deal between Jeep and Juventus has been named Best Sponsorship or Partnership at the Global Football Industry Awards 2026 in London. Now in their second edition, the awards recognise excellence and innovation in the football industry.
The collaboration started in 2012 and was recently renewed through 2028, which makes it one of the longest-running commercial partnerships in European football. Over time it has grown beyond a traditional shirt sponsorship into an international communications platform that combines visibility, fan engagement and creative content for both brands.
Turin links between Jeep and Juventus
Both parties describe the relationship as built on shared values of performance, ambition, resilience and the drive to keep pushing beyond limits. They also share a home in Turin, a city with a long football heritage and an automotive history. The Jeep Avenger and Compass SUVs were designed there.
Juventus teams, campaigns and the Summer Tour
The carmaker supports the Juventus Men’s and Women’s First Teams as well as Juventus Next Gen. During the partnership the club has won 35 trophies, while the sponsorship has been used for international campaigns, digital and social content, player-led initiatives, matchday experiences, hospitality, PR and B2B activities.
Its design has changed over the years too. The 2022/23 jersey reworked the Jeep logo with a lightning-inspired graphic to reflect the brand’s move to electrification. The Juventus Summer Tour powered by Jeep has taken the club to the United States, Canada, Indonesia, South Korea, China, Hong Kong and Australia.
Jeep awareness and growth in Europe
According to the release, Jeep’s presence in Juventus-related content has extended the reach of the deal beyond matchday and strengthened awareness of the brand among the club’s fans. The partnership also forms part of Jeep’s growth and consolidation in Europe.
Elena Cortesi, Head of Marketing and Communications Jeep Enlarged Europe, said the recognition “celebrates the enduring partnership between Jeep and Juventus, built since 2012 on shared values”, adding that its renewal “reflects our ambition to continue this journey”. The agreement now runs through 2028.
