Pablo Di Si has been appointed Chief Operating Officer, North America and American Brands, at Stellantis, effective immediately. He joins the Stellantis Leadership Team and reports directly to CEO Antonio Filosa.
Di Si takes over the region from Filosa, who had continued to oversee North America alongside his role as group CEO. During that period, the North America team improved manufacturing efficiency and quality, brought more discipline to inventory, restored customer choice and rebuilt market momentum.
Why North America matters to Stellantis
Filosa described North America as critical to the company’s success and to the delivery of its FaSTLAne 2030 strategy. “Pablo is a proven leader who deeply understands the North America market, our business and the importance of disciplined execution,” he said.
Pablo Di Si career and plans
The new COO brings more than 25 years of experience across finance, business development, strategy and operations. He has led Volkswagen’s businesses in North America and South America and previously held several leadership positions at Fiat Chrysler Automobiles. Most recently, he served as Stellantis Chief Performance Officer, working with teams around the world on the ramp up of the company’s Value Creation Program.
According to Di Si, the team will build from a solid foundation, with a focus on execution and on customers across the United States, Canada and Mexico.
Other Stellantis leadership changes
Jon Nelson is appointed North America Chief Financial Officer, reporting to Di Si. He replaces Joao Laranjo, who held that responsibility in addition to his role as Stellantis CFO. Nelson’s career spans senior roles at Stellantis, FCA and PwC, covering automotive finance, accounting, capital allocation and financial advisory work.
Gustavo Soloaga becomes Chief Performance Officer, effective immediately, leading the Value Creation Program globally and reporting to Laranjo. He has more than 30 years of senior finance experience, having led initiatives and operations across Europe, Latin America, and the Middle East and Africa at Groupe PSA and Stellantis.
Alexandre Sorel succeeds Nelson as CEO of Stellantis Financial Services, also reporting to Laranjo, while keeping his responsibilities as head of Financial Services for Europe. His more than 30 years in automotive finance include senior roles at Groupe PSA and a term as CEO of Opel Vauxhall Finance.
