Starting on 2 November, video-on-demand services and social media in the UK will carry ‘Brit’s What We Do’, a new campaign from Vauxhall that celebrates the brand’s British roots and the people, places and everyday moments of life in Britain. It comprises 60- and 30-second films showing Vauxhall cars and vans in familiar British settings.
Scenes range from the morning school run and the lollipop person to a playful reference to the cryptid Loch Ness Monster. The campaign sets out to recognise the resilience, humour and determination of the British public.

Vauxhall history and electric line-up
Born in Britain in 1857, Vauxhall is the longest-running vehicle manufacturer continually producing vehicles in the UK, with its first single-cylinder, 5-horsepower car built in 1903. The company has offered an electric version of every van in its range since 2021, followed by an electric version of every car model from 2024. Its line-up also includes hybrid and traditionally powered cars and vans.
Combo Electric built at Ellesmere Port
British manufacturing sits at the centre of the longer film, which features the Combo Electric van. It is built at the Ellesmere Port plant in Cheshire, the UK’s first EV-only volume manufacturing plant, and carries the official ‘Made in Britain’ trademark on its rear as Vauxhall renews its partnership with the trade organisation.
Team GB ambassadors in the films
As official automotive partner of Team GB, supporting athletes as they prepare for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games, the brand also brings four ambassadors into the creative. They are Caden Cunningham (taekwondo), Andrea Spendolini-Sirieix (diving), Emma Finucane MBE (track cycling) and Jake Jarman (gymnastics).
Clare White, Vauxhall Marketing Director, said: “Vauxhall was born in Britain and has been mobilising the nation for more than 120 years.”

A long-term platform after the Griffin emblem
Following the introduction of the new Griffin emblem, ‘Brit’s What We Do’ will serve as a long-term creative platform and a consistent thread across Vauxhall communications. The 60-second film can be viewed from the campaign launch on 2 November across video-on-demand and social media in the UK.
