It looks like a wet one across the Eastern Cape this weekend, so keep the umbrella close. Saturday brings rain showers to much of the province, with Gqeberha sitting at a cool 14 to 18 degrees and East London reaching around 19. Mthatha is a touch milder at 17, while Queenstown starts off with showers and thundershowers and about 14 degrees. Not the warmest of days, so pack a jacket if you are heading out.
Sunday warms up a little and the mood turns more thundery. Gqeberha climbs to 15 to 19 degrees with showers and thundershowers, and East London and Mthatha both reach a pleasant 21. Queenstown settles into rain showers at around 20. With storms about, keep an eye on the sky and give outdoor plans some flexibility.
