By Thursday and Friday the heat picks up, reaching 25 degrees, but showers and thundershowers roll back in to close out the week.
Bethlehem follows a similar pattern, with showers and thundershowers early and a clearer, milder day around 22 degrees later on. Kroonstad warms nicely to 25 degrees, though it sees showers and thundershowers along with some slight rain before clearing. Keep a raincoat or umbrella handy through the week, especially with those Thursday and Friday thundershowers on the way.

Yellow Level 2 Warning: Severe thunderstorms accompanied by heavy downpours and with a possibility of damaging winds, excessive lightning and hail, leading to localised flooding is expected over the western parts of the Free State, extreme western parts of the North West, and the central parts of the Northern Cape.
