The video in brief
- Basson Laubscher performs an acoustic Ramblin’ Man
- Ramblin’ Man is his debut single
- Song comes from debut album Shakedown
- Performance video filmed on his front porch
- Videography by Hugo Brand
Indie artist Basson Laubscher presents Ramblin’ Man here in a new form, pared down to an acoustic arrangement. The track was his debut single and appears on Shakedown, his first album. This version swaps the full studio sound for a simpler take that puts the song and its performer at the centre.
Filmed on the musician’s own front porch, the clip is a straightforward performance video. Hugo Brand handled the videography, capturing the singer as he works through the tune in a relaxed, homely setting.
