Recorded live at Conserve Studios in Stellenbosch, Killing Me is an original song from Basson Laubscher & The Violent Free Peace. The band’s sound draws on indie, pop and soul, and this performance captures them playing the track in the studio rather than presenting a staged clip.
Behind the session, Gerhard Grobler took care of the sound recording. Filming came from Odendaal Esterhyse of Hatpic Pictures, who shot the group as they worked through the song together in the room.
