The video in brief
- Basson Laubscher performs the song Going Home
- Sound blends country, indie, pop and rock
- Official video documents a first European adventure
- Kyle Wesson shot and edited the video
- Trip was cut short by COVID-19
Blending country, indie, pop and rock, Going Home comes from Basson Laubscher, an act whose official video for the song looks back on a first European adventure. That trip ended sooner than planned when the COVID-19 pandemic cut it short, but the musicians still came away with footage from the journey.
Kyle Wesson shot and edited the clip, which turns that interrupted tour into a document of the time spent abroad. It was released on 7 May 2020 and runs for five minutes and 27 seconds.
