The video in brief
- Basson Laubscher performs a swampy, bluesy slide jam
- Jam built on his song Rattleshake
- Rattleshake comes from the album Testify
- Fifth instalment of his Lock Jams performance series
Part five of the Lock Jams series finds Basson Laubscher working through a swampy, bluesy slide jam drawn from his song Rattleshake. The rock guitarist took the piece from his album Testify, and here he stretches it out in the loose, gritty spirit he likens to a dirty rock n’ roll bar or juke joint.
This is a performance video, released on 17 April 2020. It runs 3:36 and sits within an ongoing run of jam sessions, each one built around material from his catalogue.
